What you will learn
Before being discharged into the receiving environment, wastewater must first be treated. This wastewater goes through a series of treatment stages: pre-treatment, primary settling, secondary treatment and tertiary treatment. Several technological possibilities can be used for each of these steps. A series of treatments is also carried out on the sludge extracted from the various processes.
